GPSA Office / Computer Lab

 

Computers, equipment and much more available in the GPSA computer lab


Analyze data. Write a paper. Prepare a syllabus. Make handouts for a presentation. Prepare an application for a GPSA grant. Read e-mail. Research on the Internet. Print pictures or documents in color. Use the Scantron machine for quick grading.

The GPSA Computer Lab is equipped with thirty-nine PCs running Microsoft© Windows XP computers. In addition to the software programs listed below, the GPSA also has several flatbed scanners, CD writers, and a color laser printer. Available software:

Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 - 7:45 p.m.

Accessing GPSA and Student Computer Labs


In order to have access to the computers in the GPSA, students need to register either in the GPSA or in one of the student labs located on campus to activate a Novell account. You MUST have a current graduate student i.d. to activate and access your account. Printing charges are listed above; b & w copies are deducted from your Novell print account. Color copies must be paid for in cash at the desk.


The GPSA Office and Computer Lab is located on the 3rd floor in the Lied Library, room 3251.
