Online Computation and Competitive Analysis, by Allan Borodin and Ran El-Yaniv. Cambridge University Press ISBN 0-521-56392-5.
Prerequisites: There are no formal prerequisites. However:
Familiarity with algorithms.
Background in discrete mathematics.
Ability to understand proofs.
Written Homework:
will be assigned, collected, and graded. You are permitted to discuss homework.
Examinations:
The first examination will be TBA.
The second examination will be TBA.
